Dear ERUA phd students, dear teachers and dear professors, we warmly invite you to the Writing Retreat at the European University Viadrina, in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany.

04.05- 07.05.2026 from 9:30 am to 4.30 pm

We offer to come to our university to our brand new lovely co-working space to take time to write together. You can bring your papers, essays, dissertations, articles, research papers, etc. and work on your writing project 4 days the week. After a brief input session in the morning, there will be time for writing, feedback sessions, and writing methods that facilitate the writing process. We will write, exchange ideas, have lunch together, and get to know the European University Viadrina. We will invite experts in the fields of academic writing, writing with AI, and writing in a foreign language.

Travel Information

Please take care of your travel arrangements and accommodation. However, we can assist you in finding a place to stay.

Or you can stay in one of the several nice hotels in Frankfurt (Oder) or Slubice (Poland).

In Poland, across the Oder River, there are wonderful “student” accommodations for about 20 euros per night. Every room has an own bathroom.
