Social innovation puts open bookshelfs in the streets, let you rent a cargo bike to cycle by them, founds workshop clubs that help you keep your old radio, and sharing cafés if you don't need it anymore.
Social innovation is problem-solving for the common good and creativity for public value. Change the way things are running, there are myriad ways of participating in social impact: as a creative thinker, artist, activist, or social entrepreneur. Be-/come a social innovator and register for Viadrina's Social Innovation Event - the Innovatathon! Whatever your skills, experiences, and ideas are, if you are passionate about problem-solving and social innovation, this event is for you! Meet like-minded fellows to work with, create and develop your idea, enjoy some free food and drinks! All participants receive a certificate of attendance and are eligible to be elected to win awards, invitations to mentoring programms and workshops, and a unique trophy!
The Innovatathon is an event by the European University Viadrina and the European New School of Digital Studies. It is part of HaSI (Higher Education hacks Social Innovation), a project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research aimed at sensibilizing universities for social innovation.

Soziale Innovation stellt offene Bücherregale in die Straßen, an denen du mit deinem gemieteten Lastenrad vorbeifahren kannst, gründet Werkstattclubs, die dir helfen, dein altes Radio zu behalten, und Sharing-Cafés, wenn du es nicht mehr brauchst.
Soziale Innovation ist gemeinwohlorientierte Problemlösung und Kreativität für den guten Zweck Ändere die Art und Weise, wie die Dinge laufen, es gibt unzählige Möglichkeiten, Social Impact zu haben: als kreative Denker*in, Künstler*in, Aktivist*in oder soziale Unternehmer*in. Sei oder werde eine soziale Innovator*in und melde Dich für das Social Innovation Event der Viadrina an - den Innovatathon! Was auch immer Deine Fähigkeiten, Erfahrungen und Ideen sind, wenn du dich für Problemlösungen und soziale Innovation begeistern, ist diese Veranstaltung genau das Richtige! Triff Gleichgesinnte, mit denen Du zusammenarbeiten kannst, entwickle Deine Idee und genieße gratis Essen und Getränke! Alle Teilnehmer erhalten eine Teilnahmebescheinigung und können Auszeichnungen, Einladungen zu Mentoring-Programmen und Workshops sowie eine einzigartige Trophäe gewinnen!
Der Innovatathon ist eine Veranstaltung der Europa-Universität Viadrina und der European New School of Digital Studies. Er ist Teil von HaSI (Hochschulen hacken Soziale Innovation), einem vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung geförderten Projekt, das Hochschulen für soziale Innovationen sensibilisieren soll.
